Project Brief
Megabop Promotions provides a bespoke promotions service to record labels and artists, offering a package that encompasses radio, television, press and digital pr on a regional or global scale.
They had an exisitng site which they wanted to improve by the addition of a 'Latest News' section.
This news was provided by an RSS news feed and would be displayed on the main page of the site.
Our solution
Our solution was to create script in PHP that would retrieve the remote RSS feed and then insert this into a MySQL database.
We then developed the PHP code that would query the database and output the required data.
We then provided our client with the files, instructions and support for them to integrate this solution themselves.
